Powerchip Inc designs, developes, produces and distributes aftermarket performance chip upgrades world wide. Powerchip Inc is based in Santa Monica, California and was founded in 1991 by Wayne Besanko.

In 1999, Powerchip formed a strategic alliance with an automotive hardware/software developing company called Fueltronics, who at that point were the leading developers in the Southern Hemisphere. Today Powerchip Group owns Fueltronics outright and has shifted their focus purely to aftermarket chip tuning program design tools such as our vehicle specific emulator and emulation programs. These tools, combined with Powerchip's years of chip tuning experience, make Powerchip Inc the world-wide, industry leading company.

In the 11 years of operation Powerchip has developed a strong customer base with over 100,000 custmers having fitted Powerchip tuning upgrades to their vehicles.

At this point Powerchip Inc specializes in European vehicles, but has allocated recources and development funding to expand into American and Japanese makes.
